Festival de las sonrisas
2018 starts full of happiness and big moments at the Festival de las sonrisas (Festival of Smiles), which will be held from January 12 to February 6 in León, Guanajuato, place where you will be able to enjoy 24 hectares full of amusement, allegoric cars, spectacles, food and the participation of more than 1,300 exhibitors.
Every year, more than 5 million people gather to celebrate the anniversary of the City’s foundation. A queen, infantile queen, and princesses are chosen to represent the city and support the community.
At the fair, you will be able to enjoy more than 40 mechanical games for all ages. In addition, the fair has a great food pavilion, where you may enjoy a great variety of food like: "cabrito al pastor"; the traditional "huaraches", made out of corn flour stuffed with beans, topped with striped cheese, steak with green or red sauce, coriander and onion; "gorditas michoacanas", also made of corn flour stuffed with "chicharron"; and the traditional fair bread, with different flavors like nut and pineapple, decorated with funny phrases.
The music also is one of the most important things of this fair, every year very important artists perform at the Palenque.
From 16:00 hours, the "Palenque", the Dome, the Victoria Forum, the Harlequin Forum , the Kiosks of the Explora Park, the Polyforum León, the Lake Explora Forum, the Cortijo, the Bullring " La Luz " are waiting for you with big attractions and an endless number of emotions.
